To celebrate J-100 before the opening of the World Equestrian Games FEI AlltechTM
Normandie 2014, Christophe Dumont and his team created a piece of sand art on the famous Baie du Mont St Michel.
The Chronopode is a Land’art design from the artist Christophe Dumont, A linear scale graduated in years symbolizing time. People can interact by writing on coloured tags specific events of their own history or mankind history. It enables people to physically measure time. This chronological path will also be a place where musical or theatrical performances, as well as mobile conferences, will be given along the path. This really popular event will bring together all the people with no age or cultural differences. This huge piece of art will be a non-conventional way to celebrate our history, combining the private and the great history. The world’s conflicts and their consequences will be seen through a new artistic eye. Everybody will be able to characterize mankind memory and bring his own footprint to the collective design, little by little.
